CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner volleyball team finished 2-3 overall in the Lisbon-Enderlin tournament held this past weekend.

Valley City played in the Lisbon half of the tournament.  They were defeated in pool play by Northern Cass, North Sargent, and Wyndmere-Lidgerwood, and moved to the second consolation tournament.

The Hi-Liners then knocked off Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page and Hankinson in that tournament to finish with the second consolation title.

Kindred, Northern Cass, and Lisbon advanced to the championship pool in Lisbon, with Kindred moving to the title match.  Central Cass, Oakes, and Milnor advanced to the championship pool in Enderlin, with Central Cass advancing.  Kindred then won the title match 2-1.

Valley City is idle till Friday, when they enter a tournament in Fargo.
