Jamestown,N.D…The number one ranked team in the state looked sharp on Friday night at Gates Field in Jamestown, as Bismarck picked up a 56-0 victory over the Blue Jays.

A good crowd turned out for homecoming, but the Demons spoiled the mood,with four first quarter touchdowns, and kept the momentum rolling in the second quarter with three more scores. Bismarck scored on it’s first seven possessions and built a 49-0 lead at the half.

Demon running back Layne Johs continues to have an amazing season, as the Junior upped his touchdown total to 17 with three scores in the first quarter. Senior Devin Schirado chipped in with a couple of touchdown catches, and Junior Brett Adam caught a TD pass, and threw for one on double reverse flea flicker.

Bismarck, 6-0,  posted 453 yards of offense on 53 plays. The Jays, 0-6,  had only 35 yards at halftime, and finished the game with 150 yards on 53 plays. Jamestown suffered it’s third consecutive shut out, and has been outscored this season 289-29.
