Jamestown, N.D…The Jimmie womens volleyball team kept Dickinson State winless on the season at Hansen Center on Wednesday night, as Jamestown picked up a three games on one victory.
Jamestown was in an early rut, as the Hawks took the first game 25-23, but the Jimmies rebounded to take the next three games, 25-15, 25-12, and 25-16. Jade Meiklejohn led the way for Jamestown with 24 assists, one ace and three digs.
Kelsey Keragisch added 15 assists and four digs, Heather Brown came through with 10 kills, two asssits, two digs, and four blocks, and Katie Zent chipped in with 13 kills, one ace, 15 digs, and four blocks.
Jamestown improves to 11-7 overall, and 2-1 in the DAC. Dickinson slides to 0-16 overall, and 0-3 in the conference. Next up for the Jimmies is Minot State at Hansen Center on Friday night at 7:00. Jamestown will also host Dakota Wesleyan of Mitchell, South Dakota on Saturday.
