The Jimmie golf teams had another good showing at the Valley City State Invite, as this two day event came to a close on Monday.
The Men picked up first place with a team score of 607, 22 strokes better then second place Valley City State. Brad Quast led the Jimmies to victory with a first place score of 149, and teammate Tommy Rockis finished second with a 150. Kameron Hunter ended up in sixth place with a 154, and Jack Bietz tied for tenth with a 158.
Valley City State was led by Ryan LeNouse, as he shot a 152, good enough for third place, and Ryan Mehus claimed seventh place with a 156.
In the womens division, Jamestown captured second place with a 733, 21 strokes behind first place Dickinson. The Jimmies had three players in the top ten starting with Kelsey Ross, as she shot a 170, and finished second, Brianna Stein tied for fourth with a 176, and Tracy Gustafson carded a 179, and settled for sixth place.
This bring to an end the Fall part of the Jimmie golf schedule. Jamestown won’t play again until next April.
