N.D.- After a massive wind storm moved through the area back in July, KDDR-AM 1220 in Oakes received a brand new transmission tower late last week.

The station had been operating with a temporary tower during the last few months, a much smaller structure with much less range.

 Work started on Monday September 19, and is scheduled to be finished on Monday September 26.
