Jamestown, N.D…291 cars took part in the 40th annual Stock Car Stampede Friday and Saturday at Jamestown Speedway.

The grandstand was packed, as many fans came out, thanks to beautiful weather. When the dust settled on Saturday night, seven classes had crowned champions. Jeff Wildung won the feature in the Wissota Late Models, Cody Skytland took the feature in the Wissota Modifieds, Ross Dixon captured the feature in the Wissota Super Stocks, Duffy Froemke took the feature in the Wissota Street Stocks, Billie Christ won the feature in the Wissota Midwes Mod’s, and Josh Roehrich won the feature in the Hornets.

This brings to close the 2011 racing season at Jamestown Speedway. The year end annual awards banquet is set for Saturday, October 29th at Shadys in Jamestown.
