Harvey-Wells County and Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter remained atop this week’s football polls in Class A and 9-man, respectively.
The Hornets drew nine first-place votes, with the other two going to second-ranked Hazen. The other three teams also remained locked into the same positions, with Stanley-Powers Lake third, Heart River fourth and Velva fifth.
In 9-man, the Imperials improved to 3-0 and stayed in front of defending state champion Wyndmere-Lidgerwood. Central McLean moved into fifth after knocking of Mott-Regent 30-20.
The polls are conducted by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
