N.D.- The Oakes School District inducted two distinguished individuals into the district’s Hall Of Fame Tuesday night as part of homecoming week.

Doris Hankle was inducted, after working for 23 years as a teacher and librarian. She retired in 1980 and was in attendance at the ceremony.

Nate Cummings was also inducted. Cummings spent 41 years in the district, and was a teacher, coach and even Superintendent from 1952-1970. His daughter Deborah Melland from Minot accepted the honor on her father’s behalf.
