CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner volleyball team was tipped in it’s Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) opener Tuesday night.

Valley City dropped a 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-17) match to Fargo Shanley last night in Fargo.  The match was worth two EDC points, as the teams will meet only once in the regular season.

The Hi-Liners will host Fargo Davies in their home opener Thursday evening.  The match will also be worth two EDC points.
