N.D. – Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin says a High Risk Sex Offender, Michael Thomas Wilson, has moved into the city of Fingal at 108 5th Avenue.

Members of the Barnes County Sheriff’s office will be conducting a town hall meeting Wednesday night at 7pm in the Fingal City Hall. Anyone with questions about the sex offender is welcome to attend.

Wilson is a High Risk sex offender. He was convicted of having sexual contact without consent with a 17-year-old female stemming from an incident in Roberts County South Dakota back in 2003.

According to the crime report summary; Wilson provided a drink to the girl that contained either alcohol or another intoxicant. The girl woke up in the garage with Wilson on top of her having sex.
