N.D.(NewsDakota.com) The regular season came to an end for Jamestown Knights of Columbus in amateur baseball on Sunday, as the Greyhounds split a twinbill with Beulah-Hazen. B-H won the first game 3-2. Jake Stilwell and Riley Schafer each had two hits for Knights of Columbus.
Jamestown bounced back and won game two, 13-2. Kasey Gengler had three hits, a double, and four RBI. Shane Shoeneberg had a couple of hits, including a double, and Brady Anderson chipped in with a double. Levi Gaunska and Shoeneberg combined for the win.
Next up for the Greyhounds is the State Tourney, with an opening round game on Wednesday versus F-M Metros at 5:30 p.m. at Jack Brown Stadium.
