CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Valley City Babe Ruth baseball team dropped it’s quarterfinal with LaMoure Monday at the District 6 tournament in Edgeley.

Austen Meyer took the loss, hampered by untimely walks and errors.  Valley City had just five hits, two by Spencer Meyer.

Valley City now plays at Noon Tuesday against either Ellendale or Linton.  Should Valley City advance, they would play again at 7:30 p.m. in loser-out play.
