N.D.– Medina has been selected as one of six communities to host the Key Ingredients: American by Food, a Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition which delves into the historical, regional and social traditions that merge in everyday meals and celebrations of the American table.
The exhibition will be in Medina from Oct. 20 through Dec. 2, 2012. Sue Balcom, FARRMS Marketing and Outreach Coordinator, said that a committee has formed to create programming and garner community support for the project. A meeting has been set for 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at FARRMS in Medina, 301 5th Ave SE. Anyone interested in learning more about the project or volunteering to assist with planning is welcome to attend.
