N.D.(NewsDakota.com)…The State Class “A” Baseball Tournament will take place this week in Grand Forks, and Jamestown, the #9 seed, will face Dickinson, the #8 seed,  in the opening round on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m..

Jamestown dropped a pair of games on Friday at Fargo, 20-8, and 28-6, to wrap up the regular season. Post 14 is 10-23-1 on the season.

The top four seeds all have a first round bye, and won’t play until round two on Wednesday.  Williston is the top seed, Mandan is the #2 seed, Bismarck is the 3rd seed, and Grand Forks is the #4 seed.

Devils Lake is the #10 seed, and will play Minot , the #7 seed at 5:00 p.m. in game one of this double elimination format on Tuesday. 

Bismarck and Fargo will play in round two at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, followed by Mandan against the Minot/Devils Lake winner at 2:00 p.m..  Williston will face the Jamestown/Dickinson winner at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and the final game of round two will have Grand Forks gainst West Fargo at 8:00 p.m..
