Jamestown Regional Medical Center held it’s grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony today. During the program, Harvey Huber, Chairman of the Board of the Jamestown Regional Medical Center, explained that the facility was completed on time and within budget. “That wasn’t accidental or a matter of luck. This is a matter of having very capable people within very good organizations doing very good work.”
Marty Richmond, CEO of the hospital, said, “You’re new community medical center stands as a visible symbol for all who visit here that Jamestown is a vibrant community committed to reaching beyond the expected.”
Through USDA Rural Development, the medical center received $46 million in financing to construct the state-of-the-art facility.
The 117,000-square foot Jamestown Regional Medical Center will serve as a healthcare hub for over 55,000 people in a nine county area.
