their regular monthly meeting Monday, the Jamestown Public School Board voted down a prosposal to lower the mill levy by 10 over the next two years.
The vote was 6-1 against, with Roy Musland the only board member voting in favor of the measure.
The lowering of the mill would have saved roughly $800,000 in the next two school years.
