Jamestown Regional Airport continues to see monthly growth in the number of passenger boardings from years past. Airport Manager Matthew Leitner says that 369 people flew commercial out of Jamestown in the month of April; a 23 percent increase from 300 in April of 2010 and a number similar to the total that flew out of Jamestown in August of 2010. “I think May is going to be another big-time month, because our fares are competitive, if not cheaper than Fargo and Bismarck, as well as other amenities we offer such as free parking.” said Leitner. Under Leitner’s watch, the monthly boarding totals at the airport have gone up every month.
