N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Some Jamestown Rural Fire Department firefighters had to leave their families for a while on Christmas Day after a reported vehicle fire December 25th.
According to the JRFD, a reported car fire came in at around 5:30 PM on Highway 52 near mile marker 260. The call was near the Parkhurst Recreation Center turnoff across from Agri-Cover. Two trucks were dispatched along with six firefighters, who cleared the scene with no incidents or injuries at 6:18 PM.
Crews suspect an equipment issue under the hood caused the fire in the Buick Regal. The car was fully engulfed when the JRFD arrived on scene. The vehicle was a total loss.
