N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – There were some minor injuries after an accident on I-94 involving the MSUM Men’s Basketball bus Friday afternoon.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that a vehicle was stopped in the right lane due to the driver having a medical issue. A semi traveling in that direction swerved to avoid the vehicle stopped in the right lane. Joel Hill, 34, of Fargo was driving a Buick and applied the brakes for the semi. He was then rear-ended by the MSUM Mens Basketball team.
The driver and members of the bus were not injured. Hill, along with other passengers in the Buick, were transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
