N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – One person was killed and another injured following a two vehicle crash roughly 6 miles Northeast of Edgeley on November 9th.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that a semi driven by Brandon Sanderson of Stirum was traveling eastbound on LaMoure County Road 34 hauling a fully loaded trailer of corn. A Chevy Blazer driven by Coral Bardell of Monango was traveling Southbound on 85th Ave. SE and continued through the intersection where it was struck by the semi.
The semi then entered the south ditch, rolled, and came to rest on its driver’s side. The Blazer entered the ditch, rolled, and came to rest on its wheels.
Sanderson suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Bardell died as a result of his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
