CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) A fire destroyed a 1997 Chevy Blazer in a business parking lot on Friday afternoon shortly after 3 o’clock.

Valley City Police and Fire Department crews responded to the vehicle fire on the corner of Central Avenue and Main Street in Valley City. 

Fire Chief Gary Retterath says a faulty electrical system in the vehicle apparently sparked the fire. No injuries reported. He says the vehicle was totaled in the fire.
